The Ladakh Bike Trip 2026 (5N/6D Leh to Leh Motorcycle Expedition) is a perfectly balanced adventure designed for riders who want to experience the raw thrill of high-altitude motorcycling while soaking in the culture, spirituality, and surreal landscapes of the Indian Himalayas. Starting and ending in Leh, this expedition takes you across legendary mountain passes, remote valleys, ancient monasteries, and some of the most photographed destinations in the world.
This journey is not just about riding—it is about endurance, exploration, and transformation. From the moment you arrive in Leh, the trip emphasizes proper acclimatization to ensure safety at high altitude. As the days progress, riders gradually build confidence before taking on iconic routes such as Khardung La, the dramatic Shyok River trail, and the mighty Chang La Pass. Every riding day introduces a new terrain—smooth highways, gravel sections, river crossings, and winding mountain roads—making this expedition a complete Himalayan riding experience.
Culturally, the trip offers deep insights into Ladakh's Buddhist heritage and Himalayan lifestyle. Upon arrival at Leh, you are welcomed to the high-altitude desert of Ladakh. This day is reserved strictly for acclimatization, which is crucial for a safe and enjoyable motorcycle expedition.

Your first riding day introduces you to Ladakh's cultural and historical landmarks, riding on smooth roads with minimal traffic.

This is where the real Ladakh bike expedition begins. Ride across the legendary Khardung La, once considered the world's highest motorable road.

One of the most scenic and adventurous routes in Ladakh, the Shyok River road offers raw landscapes and offbeat riding conditions.
Arrival at the iconic Pangong Lake, famous for its ever-changing shades of blue and Bollywood fame. Evening at leisure, photography, and stargazing. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

After sunrise at Pangong, begin your ride back to Leh crossing the mighty Chang La (~17,590 ft).
Return to Leh by evening. Farewell dinner and ride completion celebration.

In order to cover our expected loss from the cancellation of the booking below is set scale of charges which must be paid by traveler.

Cancellation Policy is subject to change. It purely depends upon the cancellation policy of respective hotels. In Peak seasons, Some hotels may charge 100% cancellation. Refunds normally take 12 working days after the cancellation request has been raised & transferred electronically to your bank account.
A security deposit of ₹5,000 per bike is required at the start of the trip. This deposit is fully refundable upon safe return of the bike without any damages. The refund is processed within 7-10 working days after completion of the trip, provided there are no damages to the bike or riding gear.
In case of road closures due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange alternative accommodation at the location where the group is stranded. However, the cost of alternative accommodation must be borne by guests as original hotels are pre-booked. If the group wishes to proceed, bikes may need to be transported by truck at additional cost shared among participants.
This expedition is suitable for riders with moderate to experienced riding skills. You should be comfortable riding on mountain roads, gravel, and handling a 411cc motorcycle. We recommend at least 1-2 years of riding experience on similar capacity bikes before attempting this high-altitude expedition.

Yes, we offer an "Own Bike Own Fuel" option. You can bring your own motorcycle, but you'll be responsible for all fuel costs and any repairs needed during the trip. The tour price will be adjusted accordingly, and you'll still benefit from all other inclusions like accommodation, meals, backup vehicle, mechanic support, and guiding services.
