Day 1 - Srinagar Arrival and Transfer to Sonmarg

Day 2 - Sonmarg To Kargil - (125 Kms / 4 - 5 hrs)

Day 3- Kargil to Leh - (220 Kms / 5 - 6 Hrs)

Day 4- Leh To Nubra Valley - (140 Kms / 4 - 5 Hrs)

Day 5- Nubra Valley to Pangong lake - (145 Kms / 6 - 7 Hrs)

Day 6- Pangong Lake to Leh - (180 Kms / 6 - 7 Hrs)

Day 7- Leh to Sarchu/Jispa - (250 Kms / 8 - 9 Hrs)

Detailed Itinerary

Day

After arriving in Srinagar you can roam around, have lunch and around 2 pm. The participants need to gather at Dal lake, and from there we will transfer you to Sonamarg. Sonamarg which has its historical significance as a gateway on the ancient Silk Road, connecting Jammu and Kashmir with Tibet. Today, the hill station is a popular tourist destination amongst fishers and hikers, and following the Kargil War with neighbouring Pakistan in 1999, serves as a strategically important point for the Indian Army. The hill station is situated in the Kashmir Valley, at an altitude of 2,730 metres (8,960 ft).

Wake up to a beautiful morning in the Kashmir Valley and have a healthy breakfast. Later, begin your transfer to Leh by passing through the beautiful Zozi-La Pass. On the way, you will come across the views of Tiger Hill and other famous Himalayan peaks from the roaring stories of the Kargil War. You can take a small stopover at the Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war. Enroute enjoy the scenic beauty of Ladakh. Reach Kargil by evening, Dinner and Overnight stay in Kargil.

Today Morning we’ll depart towards Leh. Travel distance and time (180km/6-7hrs). Terrain type ( Basic mostly highway). Crossing Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass. Lamayuru popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland, a picturesque landscape resembles to the surface of the moon. Enroute we’ll cross many famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill,Sangam (Confluence of Indus and Zanskar river) Sham Valley etc.

After Breakfast Ride to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp. Post lunch, enjoy a camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color-changing lake and the sunset on the banks of the lake. O/N Pangong Lake.

Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours) Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise Time Lapse at Pangong Lake. On the way, you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m. You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace

Travel distance and travel time (240 km/ 07 – 08 hrs) approx. You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on the Manali- Leh highway. Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass, and More planes (Kiang Chu Thang) 45 km straight road. Reach Sarchu by late afternoon

Early morning after breakfast we will ride towards Manali. Travel distance and time (180km/7-8hrs). Serchu (Border) between Himachal and Ladakh). Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and you get to cross the snow covered Baralacha. On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Sisu, Keylong, Jispa and Darcha. The Atal tunnel which is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world.

Morning at around 10 am after breakfast you will check out the hotel. Keeping your luggage at the reception you will get free time from 10 am- 4pm, you can roam around the market or go to nearby places like Mall road, Hadimba Devi Temple. At 4pm, everyone will meet at Volvo bus stand. Overnight journey from Manali to Delhi

You will reach Delhi around 9 -10am which can delay incase of heavy traffic. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.

Cancellation Policy and Term & Condition

    • 10 % Cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days before the tour
    • 25 % Cancellation charges if cancelled between 30 - 20 days before the tour
    • 50 % Cancellation charges if cancelled between 19 - 10 days before the tour
    • No refund will be made if cancelled 10 days before the tour
    • No Refund or compensation on any changes on ongoing trip
    • Bike should be in good condition to take this tour (For Passenger without Bike)
    • Through servicing of the bike should be done before the start of the tour.
    • Motorcycle driving license & bike documents should be legal and valid.
    • Helmet: Compulsory for both, biker / pillion rider.
    • Participants should be medically fit to undertake this tour.
    • Anyone suffering from breathing problems, asthma, heart problems or any major medical problem should avoid this tour.
    • On Expedition riders will be required to drive a stretch of 250 km. without fuelling facility. They have to carry additional fuel & fuel drums along with them.
    • No last moment cancellation will be accepted.
    • Changes and alterations of single points in our travel conditions which are necessary during our tour are agreed to as long as they don't change the style of the tour significantly.
    • Organizers reserve the right to adjust the route slightly before the start of the tour.
    • If the participant is not able to complete the tour or to consume benefits included in the price of the tour, for reasons neither caused by him nor the organizers, or should he not be able to complete the tour, he / she has no right to claim a refund.
    • Damage of bike on tour should be borne by bikers.

    • Riding Gears gor riders can be hired (Knee Pads and Elbow guards - INR 800/- Riding Gloves - INR 500/- for the whole Trip)

Inner Line Permit

    • Clients require Innerline permits to visit the restricted areas like Pangong Lake, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Siachen Base camp, Khardungla Pass, Hanle, Tsomoriri, Batalik & Dha.
    • Permits will be arranged by us from the District magistrate’s office for which we require the original photo ID proof (Valid Passport / Driving License / Election ID / Aadhar Card which has address proof)
    • For Children – Aadhar Card / Passport mandatory.
    • The permit costs include Red Cross society, Wildlife fee and Environmental fee.
    • The District Magistrate office Leh is not authorized to issue permits to the nationalities of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Afghanistan and people holding Diplomatic and official passport and visa. These Nationalities and Diplomatic/ Official passport holders can issued permits only after they gain authorization from the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.
