Land to a warm reception at the Srinagar Airport, where the agent’s representative will be present to welcome you and transfer you to a jetty around the Dal Lake. It is at the jetty that the houseboats are docked.After check-in and lunch in the houseboat, you are offered some time to relax. You will be taken for a Shikara ride to the Nehru Park in the evening. Nature walks Pony Rides River Rafting After a delicious breakfast and check-out from the houseboat, you will be transferred to Pahalgam. The ride is replete with splendid views that you can enjoy on the way. After check-in and lunch at the hotel, the rest of the day is offered at leisure. Indulge in some simple yet enjoyable activities like birdwatching, taking small hikes and strolls, to make your trip to Kashmir all the more exciting. After a fun-filled day in Pahalgam, you will be taken back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Optional: You can go for short walks through the pine forest along the Lidder River. For the adventure enthusiasts, there is an option to go for white river rafting and pony rides. Tip: If you like Kashmiri food, request the staff to arrange a local meal beforehand. Bird Watching Gondola Ride Leisure Day The third day of the Kashmir tour package begins with a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Pahalgam. After check-out from the hotel, you will be transferred to Gulmarg. Head to the hotel for check-in and lunch. The rest of the day is offered to you at leisure. You can spend this time indulging in the leisure activities that Gulmarg has to offer. In the evening, you will be taken back for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Optional: You can opt for the famous Gondola cable car ride that takes you towards Apharwat via Kongdori. Other optional leisure activities include pony rides, romantic walks, bird-watching, and golf. Tip: Out of all these leisure activities, we suggest you not to miss the city’s chief attraction - Gondola ride. Begin the fourth day of your Kashmir itinerary with a palatable breakfast in the Gulmarg hotel. Check-out from the hotel and head to Srinagar. You will be taken directly for an excursion to the Shankaracharya Hill Temple. Thereafter, head to the hotel in Srinagar for check-in .You will be taken for a guided tour of the beautiful Grand Mughal Gardens - Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh - in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay are offered at the hotel. Head for an excursion to the pristine valley of Sonamarg after breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar. After lunch at a local restaurant, the next 3 - 4 hours are offered at leisure. Later in the evening, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay. Optional: If you want to visit temples in Sonamarg, there are Khir-Bhawani and Narang temples near by. Other optional activities include a pony ride at the Thajiwas Glacier and water sports in the Manasbal Lake at Ganderbal. The last day of your Kashmir package begins with a delicious breakfast and check-out from your hotel at Srinagar. You will then be transferred to the Srinagar Airport for your flight back to your home. Tip: Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
