Probably the only site in India that offers the experience of Fossil hunting, Langza village is a unique prehistoric location in Spiti Valley. Located merely a 14 km ride from Kaza, the fossils hunting village is situated at an altitude of 14300 metres above sea level. The fossils for prehistoric marine animals can be found all around the village which are more than a million years old.

Tip: If you can't happen to find a fossil or are unable to spare the time, you can buy them off the local kids who will be more than happy to get some value for it.
