After an uphill climb of 1.5km from the Dhankar Village, is the freshwater Dhankar Lake located at a height of 13500 m above sea level. The pristine lake is not only a tourist attraction for adventure travelers, but also the major source of water supply for the people who live in the nearby villages. After a tough and steep trek that starts from Dhankar Village and eventually culminating at the lake, travelers can enjoy the reward looking at a premium view of Manirang Peak (6593 meters), the highest peak of Himachal Pradesh.
